I just finished a new PHP script, it is called Site Moved Script. It will be useful to you if you have changed the url of your site. What it does is it redirects users to your new url and gives them a message about your move.
You find out more about this script on its webpage. (here)
No commentsHarry Potter
I just got back from Harry Potter 5 (the movie). The movie was good however the book had more of a political overtone, and the movie was more “Hollywood”. One thing that I did like was the scene where Fred and George leave Hogwarts.
At the movie there were 2 funny things that happened. Someone pointed out to me that the rest of the world has to wait until Friday to see the movie, I love living in Los Angeles. The other thing that I found funny was the searching for the car game that I got to play for an hour after the movie was over (not sure if any one else i was with found it funny thought).
3 commentsThe Future of NeoAddict
As many people may all ready know my first and longest running website BackStageNeopets recently closed. With it’s closure we (the staff and me) reopened another long running Neopets site. It took a few weeks of hard work to get all of the content working on our systems however we finally got NeoAddict working and we opened it.
Since it has opened there have not been alot of updates and alot of people have been asking me “OMG, NATE i love da new site, what are you planning to do with it in the future?” (ok, well not exactly like that but you get the point). Well my answer have generally been a generic one, something like “We are working hard and new things will be up soon”. However I decided that it is time for some information about what we are working on to leak.
Our current big project is a new forum. The new forum will focus more on networking and connecting you with the sites in the BSNN.
In addition to adding interactivity in the forum, we are working on adding interactivity with the site by adding code generators and possibly a comment system. We are also working on a few “secrete” projects including a news finding system.
As for the BSNN, I don’t want to say to much about what we are doing, but I will say that we are working on adding new sites into the BSNN and have some big plans for its future. I would also like to add that all new sites will be secure, and will have the same backwards compatibility that BSN was known for.
