So in 2008 I made a post about funny keyboard shortcuts. Here is an updated version of that post.

Like the old post these will only work on windows (windows 7 to be more specific).

1) “Windows Key” + “+” then “Windows Key” + “-” then “Ctrl” + “Alt” +”I” – This will invert the colors on the screen.

2) “Windows Key” + “+” then “Ctrl” + “Alt” + “F” – This will make it so the screen is magnified.

3) “Left Alt” + “Left Shift” + “Num Lock” – This will make it so the number pad can move the mouse around. It can be fun to enable this and then play around with the number pad when someone else is using the computer to confuse them.

4) “Windows Key” + “R” then type in “shutdown -f -t 0″ – This will enable you to shutdown the computer quickly. It will also make it so windows won’t wait for programs to close, it will shutdown right then and there.

5) “Shift” then “Shift” then “Shift” then “Shift” then “Shift- This will turn on “Sticky Keys” which will make it so when anyone presses the “Shift”, “Ctrl”, “Alt”, or “Windows Key” and then lets go of the key the computer will act as if they are still holding the key down.

Today a random teacher talked about Obama’s address yesterday. He said that it was the first time that he heard a president talk about education in the past 8 years. That is not true, one of Bush’s major issues was education, to say something like that shows complete ignorance. Also at one point a kid started talking about Obama’s recent dealings with Gaza. The teacher’s reaction was very odd he passionately argued that Obama would never give anything to Hamas and refused to believe what Obama is currently doing even when showed news stories about in the New York Times.

My teacher’s reaction is kind of scary, if he represents the average American then his lack on knowledge of what is happening and his blind faith in Obama makes me really scared for the future.

Additionally it is completely inappropriate for a non-humanities teacher to talk about politics in class.

Hamas unilaterally suspended the Egyptian-brokered truce with Israel, launching hundreds of rockets at civilian targets in southern Israel over the past week. Israel has exercised maximum restraint, but – after eight years of missile barrages from Gaza – must come to the defense of the 250,000 Israelis living within range of Hamas attack. Any other sovereign nation would do the same.

Under cover of the truce, Hamas engaged in a major campaign to upgrade its terrorist capabilities, manufacturing and smuggling massive quantities of weapons into Gaza – including rockets, explosive charges and machine guns – and constructing a network of underground tunnels for combat purposes. Israel cannot acquiesce to the presence of a Hizballah-like organization on its southern border.

The objective of the IDF operation is to cripple the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, impairing the ability of Hamas and its allies to launch attacks on the citizens of Israel; IDF action would have been unnecessary had Hamas abandoned the path of terror. Israel is engaged in self-defense, and will respond assertively to any provocation by other parties in the region.

Hamas belongs to the “A” League of extremism, alongside Iran, Syria, Al Qaida and Hizballah. The United Nations and a majority of its member states have designated Hamas a terrorist organization and will not engage in any contact with its representatives. Israel expects the international community to lend its support to the war on Hamas terror.

Israel has done everything possible to avert any humanitarian crisis in Gaza, allowing for the regular entry of supplies and international aid. In fact, just last week, it was Hamas that acted to prevent the delivery of humanitarian assistance from Egypt.

While the IDF takes pains to direct its activities exclusively against terrorists, Hamas callously places Palestinian civilians in harm’s way – positioning its forces inside schools and houses of worship, and launching attacks from crowded areas. The unintentional injury of any civilians in Gaza is the sole responsibility of Hamas.

Hamas objections notwithstanding, the Government of Israel will continue its pursuit of peace with the Palestinian people, led by President Abbas and Prime Minister Fayyad. Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005 precisely to further this goal, but Hamas seized control of Gaza, turning the area into a launch pad for terrorism against Israel.

Around passover MTV aired two very good holocaust ads. They are here and here. Both of the ads are good at making people think.

It looks some anti-semites realised this too and modified parts of the ads to talk about the “holocaust” of the palestinians and to claim that the real holocaust never happened. I won’t link to these videos but if you use the related video feature on YouTube you should find them.

This got me thinking and I searched holocaust on YouTube, I have never seen such anti-semitism in my life. It really made me think about how many people out there who would like me dead. It also made me wonder why YouTube has done nothing about this. Youtube’s terms of use like Facebook’s state that it is forbidden to upload hateful and racist content, yet both of these sites have a lot of stuff against Jews and almost nothing up to refute the hate and obvious lies. Also both of these sites do almost nothing to remove anti-semitic content and they do a lot to remove anything that might be even remotely considered to be hinting at the fact that the palestinian Arabs are wrong. It is despicable.
