Funny Keyboard Shortcuts 2

So in 2008 I made a post about funny keyboard shortcuts. Here is an updated version of that post.

Like the old post these will only work on windows (windows 7 to be more specific).

1) “Windows Key” + “+” then “Windows Key” + “-” then “Ctrl” + “Alt” +”I” – This will invert the colors on the screen.

2) “Windows Key” + “+” then “Ctrl” + “Alt” + “F” – This will make it so the screen is magnified.

3) “Left Alt” + “Left Shift” + “Num Lock” – This will make it so the number pad can move the mouse around. It can be fun to enable this and then play around with the number pad when someone else is using the computer to confuse them.

4) “Windows Key” + “R” then type in “shutdown -f -t 0″ – This will enable you to shutdown the computer quickly. It will also make it so windows won’t wait for programs to close, it will shutdown right then and there.

5) “Shift” then “Shift” then “Shift” then “Shift” then “Shift- This will turn on “Sticky Keys” which will make it so when anyone presses the “Shift”, “Ctrl”, “Alt”, or “Windows Key” and then lets go of the key the computer will act as if they are still holding the key down.

Billshrink.com

So by now you may or may not have seen T-mobile’s commercial about Billshrink.com. Well, I decided to try the site out, I put in my info and after battling the site’s login system (I had to setup my account twice), the site recommended a new plan for me. This new plan was offered by none other than t-mobile, and would cost me an additional $30 a month. Now whats funny is that the site could also help me buy the t-mobile plan, so I wonder if that even though the site is not owned by t-mobile if t-mobile is still somehow causing billshrink.com to view them more favorably.

Obama’s Address

Today a random teacher talked about Obama’s address yesterday. He said that it was the first time that he heard a president talk about education in the past 8 years. That is not true, one of Bush’s major issues was education, to say something like that shows complete ignorance. Also at one point a kid started talking about Obama’s recent dealings with Gaza. The teacher’s reaction was very odd he passionately argued that Obama would never give anything to Hamas and refused to believe what Obama is currently doing even when showed news stories about in the New York Times.

My teacher’s reaction is kind of scary, if he represents the average American then his lack on knowledge of what is happening and his blind faith in Obama makes me really scared for the future.

Additionally it is completely inappropriate for a non-humanities teacher to talk about politics in class.
