Have you ever been online and wanted to download a webpage but didn’t want to use internet explorer’s or safari’s propritary formats? Well after about an hour of work I have created a solution… the WebPage Downloader. The WebPage Downloader will let you save files to your computer as DOC files and HTML files with or without [...]
So by now you may or may not have seen T-mobile’s commercial about Billshrink.com. Well, I decided to try the site out, I put in my info and after battling the site’s login system (I had to setup my account twice), the site recommended a new plan for me. This new plan was offered by [...]

Like most reports of this type, wikimedia’s report has nice graphics and is visually appealing. However, unlike most reports of this type, wikimedia uses the [...]

A fun past time of mine at the mall is to go into the Apple store, go to a few computers, open the web browsers and open myorangepc.com. Then I’ll stand outside the store with the people that I am with and watch the shopper’s reactions. It can be really funny. So anyways, last night [...]

Look at the Arab protest, then watch the Jewish response… (this video is from march 2008, the Muslims are supporting this terrorist attack and the death of Jews, the Jews are singing songs of peace)
I really hate it when developers change something when the old system worked just as well if not better than the new one. Mozilla did it when they got rid of the lock icon if FireFox and it looks like google just did when they moved the tabs in iGoogle. The old iGoogle had tabs [...]
For the longest time the best online Hebrew translator was milon.co.il. Unfortunaly milon.co.il can only translate one word at a time. However it looks like Google Translator now works for Hebrew!!! Let the homework cheating help commence.
According to apple co-founder Steve Wozniak the ipod is destined to die out, just like the Walkman before it. Steve Wozniak founded Apple with his kid friend Steve Jobs. Wozniak seems to be a human being unlike Jobs who often seems to act more like a donkey (see here). According to Fox News , Wozniak [...]
Apple has long been known for its amazing business practices (It was hard to type that without laughing). However in a bazaar turn of events today it seems like Apple is stealing a business practice that has long been one of Microsoft’s flagship practices. Even since the Zune 30gb was released Microsoft has always given away [...]
I just finished installing google chrome. It is very good looking and seems to render pages correctly. However there are a few minor annoyances that I have encountered so far. The first is that google was not kidding when it said that this is a minimalist browser, there are not many menus and there is [...]
A few days ago I had a problem with gmail SMTP. Well as visitor Thad points out, it may have not been a problem with my computer after all, it seems like google forgot to renew their SSL certificate, which caused problems for people who were trying to send emails via google’s secure SMTP port.
If you have an Iphone or Ipod touch beware, your device checks in with Apple servers without you knowing and checks if Apple is OK with your app usage. See Engadget for more info.
The time is 12:10 on July 31st, 2008 (7/31/08) and it looks like gmail’s SMTP server may be having some problems, when I try to send a mail in thunderbird using gmail’s SMTP server it goes to 33% hangs for a bit and then gives me an error message that says the email can’t be sent. [...]
